Is the narrator a real person?
No. Sunny Lantern uses AI to narrate and respond. AI can make mistakes, so a parent or guardian should stay nearby. It supports shared play and doesn’t replace a caregiver or teacher.
Does the microphone always need to be on?
Live conversation uses the microphone so children can ask questions naturally. It can be switched off. Prepared samples are listening-only, with no microphone or interactive responses.
What can parents control?
Parents choose listener age, story preferences, topics to avoid, narrator, speed, and session length. Account settings sit behind parent controls. You can stop a session at any time.
What happens to our information?
Live audio is sent to our AI provider to respond. We don’t store raw voice recordings or conversation transcripts in our application database. Parents can export app data, withdraw consent, and delete their account. Read our privacy policy for details.
Where can we download it?
Sunny Lantern is coming to iOS and Android. Public downloads are not available yet. We’ll add the official store links here when they’re ready.
